I went to synagog last night with my mother-in-law,Bill and two kids.
It is the second time for the kids to go to temple since they were born.
The first time was their birth ceremony.
The temple we went to is a reform one so
you don`t see people wearing black hat,white shirt and black pants.
The music they chanted was very good,
Different from Cathlotic motet and Christian church`s morden chorale music.
It seems very OLD but also NEW.
It is JOYFUL but also SAD...
When they were chanting(in Hebrew,so I couldn`t sing)
the picture in my mind was...
River Nile,red sea,desert,sheep,sheperd....
Have you ever seen the movie"EXODUS"?
Have you ever seen the movie"Fiddler on the roof?"
I had the same picture in my mind last night...
Jesus Christ is a Jew too but Jewish people don`t see
HIM as the MESSIAH whom they are waiting for...
They are still waiting.....
Jesus was born in a humble way,
HE was not living as a KING,
HE lived the way as ours...poor,problems,suffering...
HE understands each us preoblems and needs
because HE has gone through what we are having...
I felt peaceful last night in the temple,
We worship the same God who is the almighty creator.
I am the only Ashian in the temple....
of course,they knew that I am not a Jew,
but I got a warm welcome there.
I still want to go there...
Seeking for the answer of life,
Abraham`s God and also my God too...
Praise to my LORD.
He made my life so intersting!!!!!!
